I bought my PC in November but few days ago my SSD died (Samsung m.2 1TB 970 i think), the repairman asked me if I wanted to replace it by this one. I've seen a lots of mixed reviews about the product as people said that it failed within a year of usage, but I've also read that some people use it for years and that it still works well.

exact same can be said about literally any SSD. Dont read user reviews, unfortunately most users on amazon and such wouldnt know enough about the technology to do any sort of useful review.
Find profesional reviews if possible using actual model name, Silicone power has many different models, here is SP UD90 for example:

My UD85 came with 5 year manufacturer's warranty so I wouldn't worry about it dying after a year
I got it because it was the cheapest 2TB drive available to me at the time, obviously it's lower end and runs at almost gen3 speeds while being gen4 but I'm extremely happy for the price I paid
