Hubballi (Karnataka) – While the Neha Hiremath murder case is still in news, another incident of stabbing a deep asleep girl to death took place in Karnataka in the early hours of 15th May. The victim girl is identified as Anjali Ambigera and was killed by Vishwa alias Girish out of one-sided love. The accused is currently absconding.

Vishwa had threatened the victim with a fate similar to Neha Hiremath. Vishwa entered Anjali’s house and stabbed her to death on the early morning of 15thMay. At the time of incident, Anjali’s grandmother and 2 sisters were present in the house. Despite their efforts to stop Vishwa, the latter went on to kill Anjali and fled. Vishwa has several cases of theft registered against him.

Police had earlier ignored the victim’s grandmother’s complaint

Victim’s grandmother Gangamma had told the Police that accused Vishwa had threatened Anjali, but the Police did not pay much attention to the grandmother’s complaint. Police sent her back saying that it was just her belief. (Strict action should also be taken against the concerned Police officials in this case. – Editor)
