Theory: Alannah Myles Demo / Unreleased Song?

I'm sorry if this is low effort, and i know i may not be the best at typing this out, but i see no one proposing this artist.

Alannah Myles is a Canadian musician who is most well known for her 1989 song "Black Velvet" which was her only hit in the United States, but she had a few other hits in her home country of Canada such as "Love is", "Still Got This Thing", and "Lover of Mine". I have heard her music many times because I am from Canada, which has a Canadian content requirement (CanCon) on Radio and Television, and I noticed that the snippet of Somewhere In The Night sounds suspiciously similar to Alannah Myles. Her debut album was released in 1989, and at the time she was 30 years old. The album has an 80s sound to it to further back up my theory. With this information we can know that she had not released any music commercially in her 20s, but that she was in her 20s for 90 percent of the 80s, so it's possible that she was an adult who could have been making music, but never released it.

Is it possible that Somewhere in The Night could be a demo or unreleased song of hers?
