This year's Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival — the 39th annual — concludes Sunday night, beginning at the corner of Belmont and Sheffield avenues and extending to the corner of Sheffield Ave. and Roscoe Street. The festival runs until 10 p.m. Sunday after beginning Friday evening and running all day Saturday.

Mirella's Tavern in West Town carries a legacy of hard work and family. Executive Chef Jose Rivera explains the restaurant is named in honor of a woman who worked for him as a dishwasher for a long time. She always wanted to start her own restaurant, Rivera says, but tragically died in a car accident. So Rivera has teamed up with her kids to make Mirella's dream a reality, opening the restaurant named after her in February. And they make everything from scratch, including the brunch menu.
