Jamal Crawford lays out why Bronny James will become a pro: "I love how he is raised, his humility"

Bronny impressed during his appearance at the Draft Combine.

Bronny James' performance at the recent Draft Combine has people talking about his potential as an NBA player. Some say he has the game to make it to the next level, but others argue that if he does, it will only be because he is his father's son.

Three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner Jamal Crawford sees it differently. Aside from having enough basketball skills, Crawford says that Bronny's attitude and ability to deflect the pressure around him are clear indications that he is ready for the bright lights.

"I love how he plays," said Jamal on The Dan Patrick Show. "I love how he was raised, his humility. And now I'm in the AAU circuit because I'm coaching my son, so I know what it's like to be the famous kid, and everybody's kind of watching you and hoping things don't go well for you. He handles it beautifully."

He has handled the pressure well

Bronny has been under the public microscope ever since he started playing competitive basketball. And why not? He is the eldest son of arguably the best basketball player to ever play the game. But despite all the pressure, James Jr. has remained level-headed. He has never let being LeBron's son get into his head.

Despite the unrealistic expectations, Bronny has stayed true to himself as a basketball player. He continues to play the game the right way and doesn't try to put up big scoring numbers or try to grab the spotlight during games.

"He knows how to play the game," added Crawford. "I'm not into the comparison part of it. But just watching him, he's athletic, he can shoot it, he makes the right plays all the time, so he'll find his way, and he'll definitely be a pro. At what round and what pick, I don't know. But he'll be a pro because he has the right makeup."

Bronny has raised his Draft stock in the Combine

Without any qualms, the 6'1'' guard attended the recent NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, falling in line and waiting for his turn like any other prospect. And surprisingly, he did a good job there as ESPN Draft analyst Jonathan Givony said that Bronny raised his draft stock with his strong performance.

"They feel like he's legitimized himself as a real NBA prospect. He's not just some kind of sideshow, LeBron's son, that the cameras are following him. That is the case with him I just think that the way he shot the ball in drills, the athletic testing. His first day in the five-on-five was pretty bad but yesterday played a great role, helping his team to a win, playing gold defense, and making shots. He's showing his feel for the game and his versatility. People love his attitude, his enthusiasm, he understands the type of player that he is," said Givony.

Givony added that Bronny moved from the bottom of the Draft Class to a late second-rounder with his Combine outing. However, as Crawford said, regardless of where he lands in the draft, if at all he is drafted, James Jr. is bound to make an NBA roster. And no, it will not be because he is LeBron's son but because he has the right attitude and a solid basketball game that coaches are looking for in a basketball player.
