• It is now mandatory for all taxpayers to geo-tag their properties. Failure to comply will result in ineligibility for tax payment rebates scheduled for June 30, FY 2024-25.

The Municipal Corporation Delhi is segmented into 12 zones.

• It spans an area of 1397.3 square kilometres, with these zones further subdivided into 250 wards.

• On January 13, 2012, Municipal Corporation Delhi underwent trifurcation, resulting in the formation of three smaller municipal corporations.

To obtain building approval online through the MCD website's Town Planning Department, follow these steps:
