Emily K. Sims OBITUARY

Sims, Emily K. 82, passed away December 16, 2003 in Pompano Beach, FL. of natural causes. She was born April 28, 1921 in Winchester, Kentucky. A resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1968, Emily was the office manager of the law firm of McCune, Hiaasen, Crum, Gardner and Duke. Since 1996 she has been a resident of John Knox Village, where she was actively involved. She especially enjoyed playing in the kitchen washboard band Sinkphony, and her work with the Residence Auxiliary Service, She was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew, Curtis Cost; her brother, Bob Klein Sr. and her sister, Mary K. Cost. She is survived by her: sister-in-laws, Virginia (Bob) Klein Sr., Jane (Bob) Sims, brother-in-law, Bert L. Cost ; nieces and nephews, Fran (Bob) Grzenda, Sue (Joel) Daly, Patty (Andy) Palmquist, Bob (Becky) Klein, Jr., Peggy (John) Klein-Crabill, Noel (Bonnie) Cost, Kim Sims, Barb (Steve) Fineberg and many great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at John Knox Village, Saturday, Dec. 20th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to your favorite charity.
