Town's post-apocalyptic makeover for Hollywood film
Parts of Alton have been transformed into the setting for post-apocalyptic world

Parts of a market town have had a post-apocalyptic makeover for an upcoming Hollywood movie.
Greenland: Migration, starring Gerard Butler, is being filmed at Alton in Hampshire.
The Market Square and some of the town's roads and parks have been closed for the filming of the sequel to the 2020 thriller Greenland.
A spokesperson for Alton Town Council said it was "very excited" the town had been chosen as a location for the film.
Some shops have been boarded up and street art can be seen around the town's Market Square
They added that businesses have still been able to open and trade as normal.
Crystal Anne Quinn, who lives in Alton, said: "Myself and my mum are avid fans of Gerard Butler.
"I first watched him in the phantom of the opera and having seen the first Greenland film I am delighted that they're filming part of the sequel in Alton.
"We are looking forward to seeing Greenland Migration."

Some shops have been boarded up and street art has been used to transform Alton into a post-apocalyptic town.
The Market Street up to Lenten Street, and The Market Square, are closed to the public, along with Anstey Field and parts of Anstey Park.
The film is expected to be released in 2025 and will see the surviving Garrity family members leave the safety of the Greenland bunker and embark on a journey across a frozen wasteland to find a new home.

The town council said that businesses had not been affected by the filming
