The Japanese receptionist is very impolite and rude to foreigners. He said if you cannot speak Japanese you are not welcome to there to had meals . It is a very bad feeling .
那個接待員店長非常不禮貌和粗魯對待外地遊客,他說如果你不能說日文就不要到我店光顧,他用流利的英文叫我們去學日文

First time tried hitsumabushi and I feel in love with it. Crispy on the outside but really soft in the inside. Really delicious.

We went here for lunch as we was there ard 1130am was lucky there’s no queue. We ordered the 3/4 eel rice set and when we open the cover of the bowl u can already smells the Char of the eels - the eels was not thick hence you can taste the crisp of the eel!
It maybe more expensive but still worth it!

Lunch started at 11am. Arrived about 10min late and already many people queuing. Waited almost 2 hours. Ordered the biggest set - cost about JPY5,800 without tax. Outer layer of eel is very crispy and inner is soft. The combined textures together with the rice gave its unique delicious taste. There are 3 ways of eating : scoop out a portion into the small bowl. 1) Eat as it is; 2) Eat with wasabi and spring onions; 3) Pour clear soup and eat as a porridge.

If you like grilled eel, and I love it, you will be hard pressed to find better. Slightly crisp, fresh from the grill, served in a bowl or box. You can add extra if you order the box.

Eat it Nagoya style 4 sections of the bowl, 1/4 with wasabi and scallions, 1/4 with broth added, 1/4 plain and the last 1/4 as you liked the best.

Served with miso soup and pickles as well.

A treat in the train station shopping center. Not cheap but fabulous.
