Did he pulled the mommy card for Jill to make him the ceo?

Did he pull the mommy card? I’m not sure he did.

As Billy said, how would he get away with that? Lily will talk to Jill tomorrow.

I don’t think that Billy would make it up. He knows that eventually, someone will be able to get in touch with Jill. I don’t see why someone can’t send her a text.

Nope.

Jill is not that easily manipulated, particularly by Billy.

This is a tactical move by Jill to force Devon, Nate and Mamie out in the open.

Exactly what I’m thinking.

We’ll just wait and see what’s what. No comment for now.

Billy related the information. Jill (tomorrow’s U.S. show) video chats with Lily. She confirms Billy has her power now which is equal to Devon and Lily’s. So Devon will be forced to work with Billy. I’m speculating Billy will appoint himself co-CEO with Lily. Devon finds Tucker to ask for help.

It reminds me of Victor’s plan which worked pretty well for Adam and Nick. Obviously Mamie won’t be happy but it really matters what Lily, Devon and Billy decide to do.

No matter what Billy’s plan is, the previews shown on Friday indicate that Lily considers this a betrayal against her by Jill. And Lily, Devon and Nate are going to retaliate in some way. So although a minute ago, Lily blamed Billy and Devon equally for the acrimony, she is now Team Winters. We all know there is a price to be paid when Lily is betrayed.

I think it also has to do with the fact that we have no Jill on screen except for a very occasional video meeting. Unless Jess Walton wants to come back or they recast the role it’s really the only way to move the story forward.

yes and they said Jill will remain a board member, so the once in a while video chats at board meetings would be okay

I think Jill did this because of Mamie and she sees, or feels that Devon and Nate at least will side with Mamie so she needed someone in person at CW to defend her side

I think jill has a right to do what she did, Billy is her son. kind of wish the winters would take their company and go somewhere else. they can take Mamie with them.

I think you’re right. I still wish that Jill would return to the canvas on a regular basis but I know that’s not likely to happen.

The power structure is so confusing. They refer to Jill, Lily, and Devon as partners, but are they?. Jill hired Lily to be her CEO of Chancellor which makes Lily her employee not a partner. I have no idea what Devon is. Is he still owner of the Hamilton/Winters portion of the comp? Just CEO? If he’s owner then how is he equal partners with Jill. Chancellor was a massive international conglomerate…I thought. Hamilton Winters was a substantial entertainment business, but I would assume much smaller than Chancellor yet they make it sound like a 50/50 split. They make it up as they go along and it’s become tiresome.

Yes it is confusing. i thought that Jill and Devon are the owners. Jill hired Lily to be CEO (before the merger) so Lily is an employee. Then Lily suggested the merger, again I think Jill and Devon (Chancellor and hamilton Winters) are 50/50. But the way things have been going lately is too confusing to try to figure out. IMHO Devon should never have agreed to the merger. And hope he decides to unmerge. TIIC have mixed/messed it up so much no one cares anymore. Tiresome is a good choice of words.

I agree, I dont really care about CW.

Billy is Jill’s son. Why wouldn’t they think that he would take over at some point…

I didn’t see Friday’s previews for this week but what you say makes sense. My first thought was that this was getting at Lily more so than Nate or Devon. I thought the whole Billy standing in for Jill at Chancellor Winters was the most interesting part of today’s show.

Exactly. One reason Billy was brought on when Lily was out of state helping her daughter. She has every right not just to give him decision making power, but she could give him the Chancellor division of CW.

HAPPY POSTING ANNIVERSARY

In the previews shown on Friday, Lily says that Jill has betrayed her and they should respond appropriately. Nate says that what they are about to do will blow the company apart. Devon says he doesn’t care. In spoilers for today, Jill tells Lily that she is doing this because she knows that Devon wants to force Billy out of the company. Lily thinks Jill should have trusted her to not let that happen. I don’t think Jill has any idea of the position she has put Billy in the face of Lily and Devon’s combined wrath.
