Enzo Fileno Carabba
Born in Florence in 1966, he is an author of novels published in Italy and abroad, short stories, radio scripts, children’s books, opera librettos, and poems. In 1990, he won the Calvino Prize with the novel Jakob Pesciolini, and his latest book is Vite sognate del Vasari (Bompiani, 2021). He lives in Impruneta.
Daniela Galoppi
Born in Arezzo. Art historian and restorer of artworks at the Arezzo workshop. Graduated in Art History from the University of Florence. In 2015, she was the Rector of the Magistrato della Fraternita dei Laici, with a mandate for the artistic and cultural heritage of the institution. Former director of MUDAS, the Diocesan Museum of Arezzo, and a member of the Sacred Art Commission of the Diocese of Arezzo, Cortona, and Sansepolcro, as well as a member of the scientific committee of Lab.O.R., the history and goldsmithing techniques laboratory at the University of Siena. She has worked on the artworks of Cimabue, Segna di Bonaventura, and Vasari. Many restoration works, carried out over more than 30 years of her career, are associated with the Superintendence of Arezzo.
All presentations will be interspersed with readings of selected passages from The Lives by Alessandra Bedino
