Just a quick drive from each other and a short trip from Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, these antique shops guarantee great finds and great times!

Dandridge, TN Antiques

Where better to begin our Antique trail than the oldest city in East Tennessee and the second oldest city in Tennessee—Dandridge. Dandridge, TN was named after George Washington’s wife, Martha Dandridge Washington. With a rich history that includes conflict between settlers and the Native Americans, civil war events, and the construction of Douglas Dam by the Tennessee Valley Authority, it’s a must-stop for history buffs as well as antique shoppers.

Historic downtown Dandridge is an adorable snapshot of small-town USA and a great place to walk around and explore between visits to the antique shops. Let’s discuss the antique shops in Dandridge, TN that you won’t want to miss.

White Swan Antiques at Roper Mansion

Roper mansion was built in 1820 by colonel John Roper as a gift to his daughter. Over the years Roper mansion has served many purposes, seen a lot of history, and changed ownership several times. This 200-year-old property is still a landmark in the community, and rumor has it, it may be haunted.

If the ghosts are real, they now live in the Shoppes at Roper Mansion, and we bet they spend most of their time at White Swan Antiques. Full of cool old items with histories of their own, White Swan Antiques is one of several interesting little shops inside this historic mansion. Grandfather clocks, vintage furniture, antique Christmas decorations, and more fill this little shop and give visitors the chance to take something as old and beautiful as Roper Mansion home with them.
