Hello neighbors! Your friendly, neighborhood Sumo wrestling club is at it again! This time, we're bringing in Mr. John Jacques, one of the Godfathers of Contemporary American Sumo. Hailing from Hawaii, he has over 50 years of Sumo experience, and during that time, he has trained several Hawaiian boys who went on to become Grand Sumo Rikishi, as well as several champions in the Amateur Sumo world. He has a meat-and-potatoes approach to Sumo training, and will ensure your fundamentals are solid to build an arsenal of effective kimarite (finishing moves)!
Mr. Jacques is doing a Texas tour, and will have his VERY FIRST STOP in Denton! If you've never done Sumo, and you're curious, this is the man to learn from! If you're an experienced Sumotori, then you already know how valuable his knowledge is, and that he is an absolute treasure and amazing human being!
