The professorship for Science and Technology Policy at the Department of Science, Technology and Society is looking for a student assistant for the upcoming winter semester 2024/2025. Tasks Support of the professorship in its various areas of responsibility in research and teaching, e.g. through research activities, literature management, assistance in the organization of scientific events, assistance in the preparation and administration of courses, etc. A particular focus of the position will be on the transcription of interviews and focus groups (English and German). Qualifications and requirements - Experience with Microsoft Office - Very good English language skills (spoken and written) - Former transcription experience advantageous - Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master study program at the TUM or another university - Interest in interdisciplinary work, in particular at the interface of the social sciences and the life sciences - Ability to work in a structured manner and to complete assigned tasks independently and in a timely manne - Reliability and accuracy - Physical presence in Munich Working hours The working hours will be 7-10 hours per week.
