TATAMY
John A. "Jack" Weasner, Sr., 80, of Tatamy, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home.
Born January 23, 1944, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Clifford Weasner and Ruth (Smith) Storm.
His wife of 33 years, Barbara A. (Smith) Weasner, passed away June 4, 2016.
Jack graduated from Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1963.
He retired as a grounds foreman in 2010 from Lafayette College where he worked for 33 years.
Jack enjoyed spending time with family and gardening.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Tatamy, where he served on the property committee for 20 years, was a former council member and a delegate to the Synod Assembly for two terms.
Surviving is a son, David Weasner and his wife Dawn, of Emmaus; a daughter, Kathy G. Weasner, of Tatamy; two step-sons, Edward Hager and his wife Tina, of Allentown and John Hager and his wife Connie, of Easton; a step-daughter, Linda Mammana and her husband Pat, of Upper Nazareth Township; a sister, Debbie Kieffer and her husband James, of Phillipsburg, NJ; a sister-in-law, Patricia Storm, of Camp Hill, PA; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Keith J. Weasner and John A. Weasner, Jr., a stepson, David Hager and a brother, James Storm.
Services will be held at 11am Wednesday in Hope Lutheran Church, 240 S. 8th Street, Tatamy. Call Wednesday 10-11am in the church. Burial will be in Forks Cemetery. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, 240 South 8th Street, Easton, PA 18045-7879.
