Jason reported on Twitter yesterday that apparently A24 is backing out of the project now?

Why am I not surprised this ultimately is happening. I always felt it was extremely weird that there was no movement (or very little news of it) on the tv series since it was announced. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was too good to be true.

Perhaps someone else will pick it up? 

I wonder why they are backing out? No one can agree on which direction to go with this?

Yup, never look forward to anything until there is a trailer or at least are pictures from the set (and no, this thread does not count: first-exclusive-pictures-from-the-set-t2160.html ).

All the "newz" about Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, Kevin Williamson  and Adriene King being on board was just a whole lot of nothing.

A sad day for us Friday the 13th fans I was looking forward to the series I live in the UK but wanted to see it seems every piece of Friday the 13th media is cursed we haven't had a film in 15 years is a joke.
