MIAMI – A woman and her friends met three NBA prospects and their manager at a Midtown Miami restaurant last month, according to police. An arrest report states that after a night of clubbing, one of the women woke up to the manager raping her at his apartment.

Miami police arrested Carl Jordan, 38, on Friday. He’s facing a charge of sexual battery of a physically helpless victim.

According to an arrest report, the 23-year-old victim and three friends met Jordan and the three basketball players on April 20.

Police said after eating and drinking at the restaurant, the group went to Jordan’s Midtown apartment to drink some more, then went to a Miami Beach nightclub and later to the Booby Trap On The River strip club, near the Miami airport.

One of the women told police that she, the victim and one of the other women eventually went back to Jordan’s apartment, “each one with an NBA prospect,” the report states.

Police said the victim told detectives that she had consensual sex with one of the players, fell asleep with him, then woke up to Jordan raping her.

The report states the woman stood up and went to the other bedroom to tell her friend about what had happened.

Police said that the woman, identified in the report as a witness, went to confront Jordan after the victim woke her up in tears.

The report states that the witness confronted Jordan about the sexual assault and he told her, “Well, she was naked and sleeping on my bed.”

It states that after detectives located Jordan Friday, he described his role with the basketball players, and explained that “they all hung out throughout the night and went to a restaurant, to his apartment for some ‘pregame,’ to a club and a strip club.”

The rest of his statement to police was redacted from the report.

As of Monday, Jordan was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
