    Tamil actor Kathir is all set to make his debut in Malayalam with an upcoming film titled Meesha, which will be directed by Emcy Joseph, who had earlier made the comedy drama Vikruthi. While no information is available regarding the plot of the film, Shine Tom Chacko, Hakkim Shah, and Srikanth Murali will be playing important characters.

    Tamil actor Kathir, well-known for his roles in Tamil films such as Vikram Vedha, Sathru, and Pariyerum Perumal, is all set to make his debut in Malayalam with director Emcy Joseph of Vikruthi fame in his next directorial titled Meesha. The film will also star Shine Tom Chacko, Hakkim Shah, Srikanth Murali and Antony in the lead roles.

    A New Film In The Works

    Earlier, there were reports that Emcy was set to helm another film titled Ennittu Avasanam, starring Arjun Ashokan, Anna Ben and Madhoo in the lead roles. No other information is available presently regarding the status of the project, or its progress. Meesha’s cinematography will be handled by Suresh Rajan, editing by Manoj and music by Sooraj S Kurup. The upcoming Malayalam film is being produced by Sajeer Gafoor under the banner of AHC Productions.

    More Projects On The Way

    Emcy Joseph made his debut as director with the 2019 film Vikruthi starring Soubin Shahir and Suraj Venjarammoodu, which was well-received for its contemporary and thought-provoking themes. The film was remade in Tamil as Payanigal Gavanikkavum. Meanwhile, Kathir, who was last seen in the Tamil film Thalaikoothal, is now gearing up for his next film Maanavan, which is being directed by SLS Henry. The actor has also signed up for the second season of the web series Suzhal-The Vortex with Aishwarya Rajesh, which was appreciated for its content during the first season.
