The Producers announces the return of Escape Roomthe terrifying comedy directed by Juan Carlos Fisher starting May 9 for a very short season, at the Teatro Peruano Japonés.
“Since it was decided to present Escape Room as part of the 2023 theatrical season of The Producers, we knew it would be a success. Night after night we watched the story of these four characters closely follow for an hour and a half and leave the theater laughing. That was, and is, about making viewers have a good time with us.”comments Juan Carlos Fisher.
This year, Alicia Mercado joins the cast in the role of Marina; and Melania Urbina who will share the role of Vicky with Gianella Neyra, in addition to Gonzalo Torres (who plays Edu) and César Ritter (playing Rai).
As you remember, the work tells the story of two pairs of friends, who decide to go to a Escape Room as part of a night plan. They soon realize that a simple game can become an all-too-real hell, pushing the characters to the limit, trying to solve tests, even dangerous ones, that involve their own secrets and that will test their own friendship.
The renowned theatrical production written by Catalan actors and writers Joel Joan and Héctor Claramunt invites the public to reflect on human nature and the complex game of trust in relationships. The play combines suspense and humor, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish. “It is a story that will capture your attention from beginning to end, there is no doubt about that. The adrenaline that the viewer feels at times, mixed with the absurd and comedic situations, make it a unique experience.”, adds the director.
Tickets for ‘Escape Room’ are available from 40 soles and can be purchased on the Los Productosres website, www.losproductores.pe, Joinnus and at the Peruvian Japanese Theater box office. Performances will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 7:00 pm.
