This Just In: Kit Leaks For Upcoming Sims 4 Content!

Lots of new content is coming to The Sims 4 this year, and some Kit leaks have given us a peek into what to expect next!

We recently learned that it’s expected players will see 15 more content updates throughout the remainder of the year and today we were gifted a sneak peek of what’s coming next. X/Twitter user anadius, someone who often posts about Sims 4 leaks and releases, shared this tweet today:

We don’t know the names of these upcoming Kits just yet, but the images here give us quite a good idea of what their theming is.

The first image shows what appears to be another backyard-based Kit along the lines of Courtyard Oasis, Desert Luxe, and Poolside Splash with several loungers, fountains, and new stone/tile work for decorating swimming pools. It definitely gives a Desert Luxe vibe, with some Spa Day and Jungle Adventures influences in the design. Based on the image this looks like a Kit designed for a warmer sandy climate such as in Oasis Springs or Tartosa. There are 26 items total in this Kit.

The second Kit leak image appears to be focused on the bistro aesthetic, for use in creating an Italian restaurant or cafe. It looks like we can expect a new bar, coffee maker, and table decorations which include a folded menu. This Kit looks like it will integrate best if you have Get Together and/or Dine Out so you can build your own quaint cafe or eatery and the overall design style should blend nicely with either, but it also would be nice in Tartosa. The tile floor, depending on the swatch options, could also blend in well with the floor patterns from the Decor To The Max Kit. There are 27 new pieces total coming in this Kit.

Kit Leak: Release Date?

While we don’t yet know when these new Kits are set to release, we can reasonably assume they’ll both come out at the same time since EA usually drops their Kits in pairs. And, since we still have no date for when the EA App goes live for MacOS users and Blooming Rooms goes free for all, it’s quite possible these will all be bundled and released at once. We’re still fairly early into May and things like Kit leaks don’t usually stay a mystery for long, so it’s probably safe to bet that we’ll see this new content before the month is over.

Final Thoughts

Two of the next 15 content updates for The Sims 4 are now slightly less of a mystery! Thanks to the Kit leak from anadius we know that we can expect the next Kits that release to be focused on Buy/Build content, centered on sunny outdoor aesthetics and cozy Mediterranean bistros. Now that spring is fully sprung in the northern hemisphere, it’s a great time to get your sims outside for a dip in the pool or an espresso along the beach.
