He is survived by : his brother Mayor of Wellington; his daughters, Chloe Dvorak (Billy Head), Calais Valentine (Daron Browder) and Jenna Pugh (Mason Pugh); his grandchildren, Madalyne Kenemore, Brooklynn Nichols, Isabella Nichols, Presley Nichols, Cruz Dvorak and Phoenix Browder; his brothers, John Valentine and Wayne Valentine (Kathy Valentine); his cousin Barbara Kelley; his nieces and nephews, Ashley Valentine-Coykendall (John Coykendall), Lezli Valentine Carson (Aaron Carson), Scott Valentine (Melissa Valentine), Seth Valentine (Sarah Valentine) and Spencer Valentine (KristyAnn Valentine); and his friend Glenda Brownlee Day.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornejo Funeral Home & Crematory (1030 Mission Rd, Wellington, KS 67152). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sumner Memorial Gardens (1500 E Harvey Ave, Wellington, KS 67152).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice.
