Making entire playlists for the Jekyll & Hyde feelings has been letting me survive this. 

I have two main ones, one is a playlist that I wouldn't mind her seeing. For the feelings of regret, apologies, acceptance, hope etc, sort of unwritten letters:

The boys are back in town

Sober to death by car seat headrest. At the very early stage of our relationship, they were very hesitant to commit, due to past relationship history. We "broke up" for about a week, and I basically cried non stop the whole time. Fast forward and they invite me to their place out of nowhere, turns out they had almost immediately regretted their decision, and this specific song was the one that pushed them to call me back. When we actually broke up 2 years later I played that song on repeat, somehow thinking that maybe by some miracle they would just forget all that had happened and we could have the life we wanted together. Also I was trying to stop smoking weed after the breakup, which might sound very stupid but for me it was genuinely a pretty big thing to overcome, and part of the reason our relationship became somewhat toxic. I am now 6 month sober, and actively trying to quit nicotine at the moment.
