Cole Palmer's lock screen on his phone was spotted by fans ahead of Chelsea's game at Brighton.

Chelsea fans have spotted Cole Palmer's lock screen on his phone, and they can't get enough of it.

Palmer got on the scoresheet as Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners at Brighton on Wednesday.

He scored a stunning header to open the scoring, bringing up his 22nd Premier League goal of the season in the process.

Palmer's incredible goal-scoring exploits this campaign has seen him nominated for the Premier League's Player of the Year.

Other individual prizes will also be up for grabs, including the PFA awards - which are voted by players, with a Player of the Year and a Young Player of the Year awards on offer.

Ahead of Chelsea's game at the Amex Stadium, fans on social media spotted the Player of the Year award being Palmer's lock screen on his phone.

They were quick to hail his mentality, believing he's manifesting the achievement.

One X user wrote: "That’s all you need to know about this lad’s mentality! Top top."

A second tweeted: "He's winning it."

A third added: "This guy's self assurance is probably his greatest asset."

A fourth said: "He already knows he’s winning it."

A fifth chipped in: "My guy's manifesting."

Another commented: "Mentality is the key."

The nominees for this year's PFA Player of the Year award are yet to be announced. with Erling Haaland winning the prestigious prize last year.

Within the last ten years, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard, Riyad Mahrez, N'Golo Kante and Mohamed Salah have all got their hands on the award.

Not to mention Virgil van Dijk, Kevin De Bruyne, who won it two years in a row, and Salah again.

Palmer is almost set to be in the running for the 2023/24 PFA Player of the Year award following his performances for Chelsea this season.

He has an impressive 22 goals and 10 assists to his name, having enjoyed the best campaign of his budding career.
