The team title is gone, but all four Ohio State entrants selected for the men's singles tournament have advanced to the second round (out of six). While Justin Boulais, Cannon Kingsley, and JJ Tracy won their matches Monday, it is Jack Anthrop who turned a few heads by upsetting a seeded opponent (Rafu Papoe of Cornell, seeded in thd 9-16 range) in three sets to start his campaign.

Tracy is also paired with Robert Cash in doubles; they are looking to rebuild after losing their set to TCU in the team semifinals.

Day 2 update: Tracy and Anthrop are through to Round 3, both in straight sets.

Day 3: And on Anthrop and Tracy go, to the quarterfinals tomorrow. Tracy also pairs with Cash in doubles and they too have made the quarterfinals. Unfortunately, there will be no more news on the women's side this year.

Day 4: It's all over in singkes as the last two Buckeyes standing were eliminated. Anthrop lost in straight sets to Ozan Barris of MSU; Tracy went the distance but ran out of steam in the third set against Michael Zheng of Columbia. Both men actually did well to reach the final eight from unseeded positions in the bracket.

Ohio State has one more chance: the doubles tournament, where #4 seed Cash and Tracy have reached the semifinal and will play unseeded Etienne Donnet and Natan Rodruguez — who have knocked off the #1 seed. How that goes will be known by this time Friday.

Day 5: And here it is! Cash and Tracy are on to Saturday's final against Antoine Cornut-Chauvinic and Joshua Dous Karpenschif of Florida State. It was quite an advenure for Cash/Tracy as they split the first two sets and then had to play extra in the ten-point tiebreaker because neither pair could immediately win by two. Cash/Tracy finally prevailed 12-10.

Day 6: No need to say any more than Dan Hope has in his article. BOOM! Congratulations to Ribert Cash and JJ Tracy!
