'I experienced it when I was there': Jordi Alba claims people are lying against Xavi

Former Barcelona defender Jordi Alba insists that lies are being peddled about Xavi in Spain regarding the club's plan to sack him.

“Barcelona, ​​unfortunately, they talk about many things. We don't know if it's true if it's a lie," Alba said from his base in Miami.

"I have also experienced it when I was there. Many times things were said that were not true. I hope that in the end the best thing for the club is decided," Alba added.

The left-back also backed Xavi to continue coaching Barca next season as he's the best man for the job.
