Tottenham Hotspur keen on Yuito Suzuki

Tottenham Hotspur are scouting Japanese attacking sensation Yuito Suzuki ahead of a potential move in the summer.

According to a report from Bold, Yuito Suzuki has attracted a lot of attention on the back of his impressive performances for Bröndby IF. Tottenham are one of the clubs keen on having him in their squad and they have already scouted him on multiple occasions in recent weeks.

Suzuki’s impressive rise attracts a lot of interest

Suzuki joined the Danish club last summer from Japanese outfit Shimizu S-Pulse. He has had an impressive debut season where he has found the back of the net on 11 occasions and also has eight assists to his name in just 28 outings.

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed and top clubs from across Europe have been monitoring him. While his contract runs until the summer of 2027 and the Danish club would love to see him continue at the club for another season, they will find it quite difficult to keep hold of their star.

His value is on the rise because of his exceptional from in front of goal and the 22-year-old could cost up to €25 million in the summer. With top clubs willing to fork a significant fee, Brøndby could be tempted to sanction his departure as they will make a significant profit having signed him for less than €1 million last summer.

Tottenham keen on Suzuki’s signature

Tottenham are one of the clubs who seem quite serious about their pursuit of the Japanese youth international’s services. The North London club are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season and his versatility and huge potential are why they are keen on having him at their disposal.

They were present in the stands to watch the former Shimizu S-Pulse forward score a brace and help Brøndby win 2-1 over FC Midtjylland last month. The scouts were quite impressed with the 22-year-old and they were spotted once again in their 1-0 win over FC Nordsjælland on Wednesday.

Representatives from the North London club have already scouted him twice which means they are serious about their pursuit and could knock on the Danish club’s door for his signature in the summer. But, they are not the only club that was present in the stands and they might have to compete with quite a few top clubs for his signature.
