I tear up every damn time....I've said too much
"I've had a rough year dad"
That's the spot. Man.
That and "Needle in the Hat"
Some fun facts about the movie:
Wes Anderson had the main house repainted, carpented and refurbished. "Every room in this house is a little bit surreal, if the walls are coloured it's not really like real life. When you walk into this house it's something really exaggerated."
Danny Glover, Luke Wilson, and Owen Wilson all turned down parts in Ocean's Eleven (2001) to appear in this film.
Throughout the movie, everyone wears the same 1970s-era clothing. This was so the Tenenbaums would appear trapped in their heyday while time moves on.
My favourite shot is Chas at the cemetery, what's yours?
