CBSE 10th Result 2024: Over 11,000 Students Score A Perfect 100 In Mathematics

As the CBSE Class 10 Board Results 2024 were announced, a total of 11,253 students scored full marks in the mathematics standard subject

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the Class 10 Board Exams 2024 for students on May 13. A total of 93.60 per cent of students who took the class 10 exam passed it. There has been a 0.48 per cent gain over the 93.12 per cent who passed the CBSE 10 exam in the previous year.

Students who appeared for the Class 10 board exam can access their scores through the official CBSE website at results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Even though mathematics is considered one of the most difficult subjects, CBSE has revealed that more than 11,000 students have scored perfect 100 marks in the subject.

As the CBSE Class 10 Board Results were announced, a total of 11,253 students scored full marks in the mathematics standard subject. Apart from that, around 6,700 and 6,269 students scored a perfect 100 in subjects like Sanskrit and artificial intelligence, respectively. In other subjects, the cut-off marks for Hindi Course A have been 98, 99 for Hindi Course B, 99 for English Language and Literature, and 92 for Information Technology.

This year, the students had to get 33 marks out of 100 in order to pass the examination. It includes marks in both practicals and theory. CBSE conducted the Class 10 Board examinations between February 15, 2024, and March 13, 2024. A total of 22,51,821 students registered for the Class 10 Board exams, among which 22,38,827 students appeared. The scorecard will include the name of the student, their personal details, marks scored in each subject, maximum marks in that subject, total marks, and compartment status.

As per the official schedule, the CBSE class 12 and 10 supplementary exam will be held from July 15. The process for verification of the marks for class 12 is from May 17 to 21 and for class 10, it is from May 20 to 24. Students have to pay Rs 500 per subject for verification of marks as well as for obtaining photocopies of evaluated mark sheets. The re-evaluation fee per subject is Rs 100.
