So I was away when the event to unlock him was happening but now I came back but I dont see him appear in the store along with the other alter egos, have I just completely missed him or will he appear in the shop sometime later?

He will show up in the shop at some point in the next couple weeks. Every Alter Ego does
He'll eventually egt out in with the rest of the egos.
