The Season 4 storyline introduces the involvement of the Iron Wolves, a mercenary faction in Diablo 4. Read on to discover how to unlock the questline and learn about the quests you must complete to play Season 4.

The Helltide Rises

The seasonal questline can be started by speaking to Doomsayer Priya in Kyovashad, near Inarius' Statue.

Call of the Wolves

Fight in the Helltide to collect Medallion Shards, then travel to the Iron Wolves Encampment in Kehjistan and speak to Soudeh to proceed with the next quest.

The Wooden Wolf

Gain the trust of the Iron Wolves and accept Soudeh's request to investigate the murders of their members. The Caravan and the Cultist hideout are located in the north-eastern direction from Ked Bardu in Dry Steppes.

Investigating the Scene of the Massacre

Upon arriving at the scene of the massacre, you'll be greeted by a horde of cultists, which you will need to defeat. After taking them down, you'll have to investigate the scene by interacting with numerous objects found in the area.

The same goes for searching the ritual site objective. Simply interact with the shiny objects found within the cultist's hideout to complete the task.

A Gift of Robes

Participate in the Helltide to achieve Wolf's Honor Rank 5 then speak to Soudeh. Soudeh will task you to find Telan, which can be found in a dungeon south-east of Yelesna in the Fractured Peaks.

Searching Telan's Campsite

Telan can be located at the end of the short instance, the Pine Passage, located southeast of Yelesna. This elite has no special attack and should be easy to take down. After fighting him, interact with the shiny objects located in his camp, then return to Soudeh to complete the quest.

The Voice in the Night

Participate in the Helltide to achieve Wolf's Honor Rank 9, then speak to Soudeh to proceed with the final part of the questline. Soudeh will be outside a dungeon located in the north-eastern direction of Gea Kul.

The boss for the dungeon is a Blood Maiden which spawns Hellborne enemies, so have your gear ready as this may be a tough fight.

Defeating the Blood Maiden

Taking down the Blood Maiden should be within your capabilities if you geared up while grinding through the Helltides. The most dangerous mechanic of the Blood Maiden is when she flies off screen, sends down orbs of fire, and summons elites to aid her in fighting.

Focus on taking down the Elites that she summons first, as they can do considerable damage to you. Aside from that, just focus on attacking while occasionally dodging her normal attacks to avoid damage.

Honor Rank Up

Every time you rank up your Wolf's Honor you'll be tasked to return to Soudeh and claim your rewards. It's best to claim these rewards as soon as possible as they do not scale with your current level or World Tier.

Season 4 Questline Rewards

Resource Caches and Legendary Items

Completing the Season 4 Questline will reward players with resource caches and legendary items which can be useful in their journey for endgame.

Keep in mind that even if the rewarded legendary items have a different name, their effects are often the same as existing Legendary Aspects.

How to Unlock Season 4 Quests

Finish The Campaign to Unlock the Story

You can access the Season 4 Questline by completing the Epilogue from the main storyline of the game. However, the Season Journey and the Battle Pass can be immediately accessed by any Seasonal Character.

Use a Seasonal Character

You can only access the Season 4 content by using a character from the Seasonal Realm. This means that you have to create a new Seasonal Character.

How to Create a Seasonal Character

You Can Skip The Campaign

Once you've completed the campaign on any of your characters, you are eligible to skip the entire campaign when creating new characters. This feature also carries over to new Seasonal Characters that you create, allowing you to immediately access the new content without playing through the main story.
