WWE has done a great job in the packaging of Jey Uso since he broke off from his tag team to become a singles superstar. His over-the-top personality, great character work, and hilarious catchphrase have ensured that he is highly over with the fans. This is clearly seen in his entrance as well.

Before his match against Damian Priest at Backlash, the Samoan had his best WWE entrance to date. The French crowd all turned on their flashlights while moving their arms to the beat. This trend has since been picked up by American audiences, as is visible in the footage released by Bayley.

Jey Uso gives himself a surprising new nickname in relation to his entrance

A fan account recently posted a photo of Jey Uso’s iconic entrance at Backlash France. The photo displayed the enthusiastic French Crowd turning on their flashlights during the entrance. The fan called these ‘fireflies,’ referring to the flashlights during Bray Wyatt‘s entrance.

The Raw Superstar replied to this tweet, saying that others no longer had a choice. The fireflies were his now. Further, he called himself the ‘Yeeter of Worlds,’ a callback to the ‘Eater of Worlds’ moniker used by Windham Rotunda.

Several fans thought that this tweet went beyond a simple throwback. They speculated that the 11-time Tag Team Champion might be a target for the rumored Wyatt 6 faction. Other than being in the King of the Ring tournament, Uso seems to be directionless if his feud with Damian Priest and Judgment Day has ended.
