Leafs officially place 3 big names on the trade block

The Toronto Maple Leafs have officially begun the major retool as they have placed three big names on the trade block according to insider Jeff Marek.

The Leafs are poised for significant changes this off-season, with the firing of head coach Sheldon Keefe signaling the organization's acknowledgment of fan demands for improvement. Now, according to Jeff Marek, three key players�Marner, Tavares, and Rielly�are reportedly "on the table" for potential moves, while Matthews and Nylander are considered untouchable.





While all these players possess immense talent, the current roster configuration may not be conducive to Stanley Cup success. Uncertainty looms over whether any of them have requested or will request a trade, with potential complications arising from no-movement clauses. However, it's logical for Toronto to explore options for change.

When questioned about the situation, Brendan Shanahan offered a diplomatic response, stating that it would be premature to comment directly but confirming that all possibilities are under consideration this summer.
