Will my system stay attached for 21 days without a reinstallation?

So I have a lace hair system, which I got installed just this week on Wednesday. So 3 days ago. Haven't washed it yet, but I have sprayed some water for brushing, as well as leave in conditioner. My next appointment with my hair system clinic is not until the 29th. I know that I might need to do an re-installation before then but I'm worried about messing it up. Currently it's held together with ghost bond platinum, which according to the lady who installed it, is not available for consumers to purchase (the platinum kind specifically). So I ended up purchasing this thing called TDI Super Grip Adhesive. But this is really only meant for touch ups. I did buy tape along with my hair system so I might do a tape installation if need be.

But here's where complications arise. I'm going to be out of town from the 15-18th and the 23-25th. I think I might be able to get away with keeping the system on until the 18th. It'll be a little over a week since my initial installation but I think I should be okay. However I am going to Florida, which is going to be very humid. It'll only be for a few days though so I should be okay. However I will likely need to install it before my next trip. Which will be in Georgia, another humid place! I'm sure if I don't end up doing a deep clean/re-installation before my first trip, I'm definitely, probably going to need to do so for my second one.

So I have 3 options. 1) Do my deep clean/re-installation before my first trip. 2) Do it before my second trip. 3) Try my luck and keep it on until the 25th.

I should also mention that this follow-up appointment on the 29th is to see how well the bond is holding up. So I almost feel as if trying to remove it now to do a reinstallation might defeat the purpose of the visit. However given that I'm going to be in humid areas for two trips, I'm worried the bond won't last long.

What should I do?

Ghost bond platinum is absolutely available for anyone to purchase. What a weird thing for her to say.

Depending on what you use it can last that long. But I noticed that after 2 weeks it gets smelly. I always want to change it even if it’s still stuck on nicely, I hate the smell.

3 weeks is a stretch. Google a place in the city you’re traveling in for maintenance, you’ll be surprised how many places do this. I just had a maintenance done while traveling in Barcelona and it was perfect

I assume this is an ad. You can’t wear it for months without re-attaching, even 3 weeks would be rough. 2 weeks was a stretch for me. 10 days was long, I ended up re-applying weekly.

IF you try to go the 3 weeks, make sure you bring some kind of adhesive because it will come loose somewhere.

What’s with the attitude? How are they a troll if they’re in the same situation as you?

It’s normal for people to highlight ads so people understand it’s not a fully independent piece of advice. That’s all 👌🏼

Let me preface this with saying that all of this depends on your body chemistry. 21 days will be a stretch for a single application of a lace system. Because lace is breathable you’re eventually going to notice residue working its way from the base into the hair on the system. For me that’s around day 10. I remedy the residue with a hydrating shampoo called Metal Detox. Some shampoos and conditioners can degrade the adhesive a bit so will take some trial and error to find what works best for you.

Imo, do a reapp between trips.

Also, weird thing for the stylist to say. We have to go through a vetting process with our cosmetology and salon licenses in order to get Ghostbond at wholesale prices but it’s obviously available for purchase online with plenty of reputable sellers.

High quality system can be worn for up to 3 months ( experience and Google as reference)and only with the proper care guide. I get mine with care guide here wiglamed and they include hair safe glues that can be re used along with a care guide to make it easier to change this or care for it properly if you decide to wear it for months

You are going to hate wearing a system if you try to go three weeks without full maintenance. It's going to loosen, smell, itch and look less than fresh. I'd suggest moving your appointment up and have her show you how to remove, clean and reinstall and make sure you have all the products you need to do so. Then do it yourself as necessary, which will probably be less than two weeks.

Body chemistry plays a big role. I’d rebond right before the trip so you can wait to learn your limits in a lower-stakes situation.

Ghostbond is total garbage. Used it and when mixed with sweat my HS can move around. If anything else fails just wear a cap tbh.
