The Best Post-Desert Recovery Sanctuaries in LA, From Four Seasons’ Massage Menu to Drip’s On-the-Go IV Hydration
Coachella and Stagecoach may be in the rearview mirror, but preparation for next year’s spring festival circuit is already underway. Tickets for Coachella 2025 are now on sale, lineup sight unseen — and one thing that L.A. concertgoers are adding to their schedule? Post-festival recovery.
Goldenvoice’s massive three-day music fest drew about 200,000 people across two weekends this April to the city of Indio, home to the 100-acre Empire Polo Club which Coachella calls home, according to Billboard. And a good chunk of those attendees undoubtedly hail from the City of Angeles: In 2019, more than 21 percent of concertgoers came from California and nearly 23 percent of attendees were international festgoers, according to market data site Gitnux.

In addition to the Airbnb, campsite, parking, transportation or even private chefs, Angelenos are booking post-desert detoxing and wellness treatments well before their return from the desert. Mobile intravenous therapy service Drip — which offers treatments for hydration, immunity, stress relief and energy across California — says there’s an uptick in post-festival requests.

“We saw a sharp increase in requests for the Hydration Drip as opposed to last year, and this year, we saw an interesting change in requests for post-festival infusions,” Drip CEO and co-founder Kwesi Dei tells The Hollywood Reporter. “We saw festivalgoers pre-booking their post-festival IVs prior to arriving in the desert. We also noticed that some requested an infusion upon arrival (pre-festival), then another post-festival. This correlates to the current trend that we’ve been seeing over the last few years of people being hyper-aware of their health and self-care. As usual, we did receive a good amount of requests for our Hangover Drip and the all-inclusive Super Drip.”
After two sweltering weekends, nine tents’ worth of packed performances and 600 acres of festival, parking and campground space to traverse, it’s no wonder that wellness-minded Coachella (and Stagecoach) fans are penciling in post-fest R&R.
