The third (and possibly final) Venom movie has wrapped filming and is set for a theatrical release in October. Plot details are still under lock and key at Sony, but some Marvel fans think they've figured out who will be the villain.

On social media, an image originally posted by @misterkrasinski on X claims to reveal a look at the gift ballcap and T-shirt given to members of the stunt team for Venom: The Last Dance. The cap reveals Venom's face mixed with green-colored scratch marks, while the shirt features the "e" in Venom replaced with a "3" that's green in color. Comic book readers are thinking this is a hint that Lasher will be the villain in Venom: The Last Dance.

The Maximum Carnage Game Was Such a Big Hit That Carnage Traveled Into the Internet
In a look at old cultural references in comics, CSBG shows how the Maximum Carnage game was so big that Carnage traveled into the net to kill players

In Marvel Comics, Lasher is the name given to a green symbiote that was spawned from the Venom symbiote along with a few other "siblings." The character, created by David Michelinie and Ron Lim, was first introduced in Venom: Lethal Protector #4, which was published in 1993. As of now, there haven't been any official announcements or indications that Lasher is planned to be a part of the third Venom film, but fans are discussing the possibility.

Given the title of the film, it seems like there's a good chance that Venom: The Last Dance will be the final Venom movie. Tom Hardy is back as Eddie Brock after playing the character in the previous two films. The film, directed by Kelly Marcel, will also star Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo.

Sony's Spider-Man Universe Continues
