She is survived by : her children, Ashley Busdieker (Brad) and Alton John Lane; her fiancé Robbie Goodman; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Busdieker, Kensington Lane and Jefferson Lane; and her siblings, Bobby Wheeler, Jr., Walter Wheeler, Anthony Wheeler and Pam Wheeler.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
