• ✈ By plane. Since Simferopol Airport is closed, you can only get by plane through the nearest airport in Sochi (Adler). Then from Sochi airport to Simferopol or Vladislavovka station by train or trains with a transfer in Krasnodar (it will take about a day), and from there by taxi or bus.

• 🚌 By bus. Regular and tourist buses run from neighboring regions and cities of the Russian Federation directly and passing to the Old Crimea. By bus to the Old Crimea

The bus is the only type of public transport that goes directly to the Old Crimea. There is a fairly important bus station in the city with a developed network of routes. But the most important destinations for tourists are domestic flights from Crimean cities. By plane to the Old Crimea

The airport closest to the Old Crimea is located in Simferopol, but it is currently closed due to its implementation. Therefore, if you need to get here by plane from distant regions, then you need to fly to Sochi airport.

How to get to Old Crimea from Sochi airport

Unfortunately, getting from Sochi/Adler airport to the Old Crimea is a whole story, and even lasting about a day and with several transfers. There are few options on this route: bus, train or hire a taxi, which in most cases will be even more expensive than the flight itself. On the train, the route will look like this:

First, from the airport by taxi, city buses or train to get to the railway station Adler. From Adler railway station you need to take the train to Simferopol, it is better to buy tickets in advance immediately after buying tickets. There are direct trains "Tavriya" (once a day) and with a transfer in Krasnodar.

By train to the Old Crimea

There is no railway through the Old Crimea, and to get here by train from cities in other regions of the Russian Federation, you need to go to the railway stations in Feodosia, Simferopol or to the stop Vladislavovka. If you want to get here by train from other cities of the Crimea, it is best to go again to Vladislavovka. Feodosia is the nearest railway station. Upon arrival at the station in the Old Crimea by bus from the Feodosia bus station, or by taxi (from 800 rubles). But the problem is that there is a train to Feodosia only from Moscow, so if you need to get here from other cities, you need to take the train to Simferopol.

Quite a lot of train flights from the regions are launched to Simferopol during the tourist season (see the schedule below). Due to sanctions, the main Russian carrier RZD does not operate flights to Crimea, and therefore you need to search and buy tickets not on the Russian Railways website, but on Tutu.ru, Poezd.ru or on the company carrier's website Grand Service Express.

But it is not necessary to buy tickets for this train to Simferopol, but it is more convenient to go to the railway stop in the village of Vladislavovka, from where you can already get to the Old Crimea by taxi, the trip should cost about 500 rubles.

By car to the Old Crimea

It is better to drive by car from the regions of the Russian Federation to the Old Crimea via the new Crimean Bridge, travel on it is free. It is also now possible to enter the Crimea through the territory of the Republic of the DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and travelers and tourists are already quietly traveling along this route. But given the location of the Old Crimea, it is still more convenient and shorter to go here through the bridge. However, of course, it is necessary to take into account the situation on the bridge, because in connection with the holding of the SVO, traffic is often closed there for security reasons, for this, keep an eye on the stop through the media or telegram channels.

After crossing the bridge from Kerch to the Old Crimea, it will be necessary to drive 120 kilometers along an excellent free road - the Tavrida highway.
