Portrayal of older women

Can I just say I love how the show portrays women in their 50s/60s. As a woman staring down the barrel at 40, it's refreshing. They're great 3-dimensional characters who aren't defined by their relationships to men and children. They also look their age and not like they're trying to be 30. If this had been an American show, they would have hired 35-year-olds who would have been full of botox, filler and plastic surgery.

Loved seeing Sophie Okonedo and Kristin Scott-Thomas face off against each other. Love their styles, too.
