One royal expert believes there are 'signs' that Kate Middleton's cancer treatment is going well.

Middleton had been absent from the public for some time before she eventually took to the media, posting a video message that showed her revealing she had received a cancer diagnosis.

The details of the cancer and the treatment remain under wraps, but there haven't been any indications that the cancer is life-threatening, or at least not with the treatment she is undergoing.

The Princess wants to keep her journey through treatment private, but one royal expert in Phil Dampier believes there are signs that the treatment is going well.

"Kate has wanted to keep her cancer diagnosis and treatment private and everyone respects that," he told The Sun. "Hopefully no news is good news and like the King, we all hope she is recovering well.

"There are some tell-tale signs that she is getting better as Prince William is undertaking more jobs, including going to the Scilly Isles where he will be away for a day or two. I don't think he would be out and about more, unless he was happy she was on the mend."

William's Cornwall visit

William visited Cornwall on Thursday, where he will spend the night. His first stop is Nansleden, Newquay, where the first homeless housing project will be built.

The prince will then head to Fistral Beach to meet organizers of the project, and on Friday, he will make his first visit to the Isles of Scilly. During his time there, he will head to St Mary's Harbour and will meet representatives from local businesses, before paying a visit to St. Mary's Medical Centre.
