The SRH vs PBKS IPL 2024 match will be played in Hyderabad on Sunday, May 19 from 3.30 pm IST. This is the reverse fixture between the two sides with Sunrisers Hyderabad beating Punjab Kings by two runs in the previous game.

Punjab Kings are already eliminated from the tournament having lost a heap of games so far this season. PBKS, MI, and GT are the three teams who have already been eliminated from the tournament. LSG are close to joining them after RR qualified as the second team to make the playoffs. Two more spots are remaining with four teams in contention for those two spots.

SRH made it to the playoffs with 15 points after their match against GT was a washout. They have a NRR better than the teams below and they will be playing their final game at home which gives them a great chance of making it to the second position on the table. For that to happen RR and CSK need to lose their final league matches.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, had another disappointing season. The injury to Shikhar Dhawan did not help their cause. They had a brilliant game against KKR when they chased down the record score but they looked off colour for the greater part of the season.
