It's been over a decade since fans of Sandra Lee tuned in to watch her on the Food Network series Semi-Homemade Cooking With Sandra Lee. Well, after taking time away from being on TV, she's coming back to the small screen in a way home chefs will be thrilled to hear about.

In a surprise announcement made on the food personality's Instagram on May 2, Sandra revealed that she'll be starring in a new show on the Roku network. Titled Dinner Budget Showdown, the competition series hosted by Sandra and Jordan Andino challenges three home cooks to use their money-saving skills to create a gourmet meal. And if that wasn't enough, all six episodes dropped on May 3 and are available to stream right now.

"We’re challenging home cooks to create a five-star meal on a two-star budget," the caption read while detailing the aim of the game. "Who will make the best, least expensive dish and win free groceries for a year? #DinnerBudgetShowdown is streaming free on @therokuchannel on May 3!"

When fans saw the news of Sandra coming back to TV, they immediately shared their elation over the news.

Omg so happy to see you back Sandra!!!!! I used to watch your show Semi-Homemade all the time," one person exclaimed in the comments. "So excited for you! This show looks fantastic 😍," another rejoiced. "Good to have you back Aunt Sandy!" a different follower added.

So, what does Sandra have to say about her latest venture? When she spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about heading back to TV, she shared how while the show may be new, it does have elements of what viewers previously knew her for while on the Food Network.

"This is Semi-Homemade meets Money Saving Meals, which were my two huge shows, with a hybrid of competition," she told the outlet. "I based what I want to do around my growing-up television icon, which was Samantha Stevens in Bewitched. I’m like, 'How would Samantha get this on the table?' Four dishes, a cocktail, a tablescape, two wardrobe changes, and you change the kitchen in 30 minutes. I really just want to do something that I can be happy with that I know it has great service, and not something that is just the next competition iteration."

Well, it looks like we have to watch ASAP!
