Meet 'Heeramandi' actor Sharmin Segal's husband Aman Mehta whose worth is Rs 54,000 Crore

Sanjay Leela Bhansali stepped into the world of OTT with the much-awaited web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. His niece, Sharmin Segal, grabbed the attention as Alamzeb in the series. However, Segal faced criticism for her stiff acting. Despite the buzz around Segal, not much is known about her husband, Aman Mehta.
Aman Mehta works as the Executive Director at Torrent Pharmaceuticals, which is part of the Torrent Group.His father Sudhir Mehta and uncle Samir Mehta lead the multinational business as co-chairpersons.
Aman Mehta stands as the heir to a billion-dollar empire. According to Bloomberg's 2024 Index, Aman's father, Samir Mehta, boasts an impressive net worth of approximately Rs 53,800 crore. Reports indicate that Samir and Aman primarily manage the pharmaceutical division of the company. As per Forbes, Torrent Pharma alone generated revenue of around Rs 38,412 crore.
Aman Mehta completed his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Boston University, followed by an MBA from Columbia Business School. In November 2023, he married Sharmin, and their wedding was graced by numerous Bollywood actors, including the cast of 'Heeramandi'.
In November last year, the actress shared a heartfelt message on social media to announce her marriage to Aman. She wrote, “We got married! ‍‍…and it was a struggle to find a ‘perfect’ posed photo of you and I, but I believe that when you are experiencing a special time in your life, you cherish the actual moment. Sometimes photos and words are not able to capture it. At the end of the day, it is an emotion and it can’t always be captured but it is ALWAYS felt.. Sharmin Segal's dad, Deepak Segal, heads content at Applause Entertainment, while her mom, Bela Segal, is a famous film editor. Bela directed 'Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi' in 2012. She's also the younger sister of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
