The Super Giants’ bowlers excelled, with Naveen ul Haq and Ravi Bishnoi taking 2 wickets each, while Krunal Pandya and Mohsin Khan secured one each, restricting Mumbai to 196 runs and securing an 18-run victory.
Despite Mumbai Indians’ promising start in the second innings, with Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis adding 88 runs, subsequent dismissals of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan hampered their progress. Hardik Pandya contributed 16 runs, while Rohit Sharma’s 68 runs and Naman Dhir’s unbeaten 62 runs provided momentum. However, Lucknow’s effective bowling effort ultimately led to their victory.
Changes in the Points Table:
After the 18-run win against Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants jumped up to the sixth position. And ended the tournament here. And Mumbai Indians ended their tournament with a defeat and standing on the last position of the points table.
