Saint Seiya Running Away on Cartoon Network?
When I was but a wee bubos, I was quite fond of toonami. And I swear I remember some anime having it's opening very blatantly replaced with A Flock of Seagulls' I ran - or maybe a remake of it? It was so obviously not the original opening even though I'd never seen it before but I don't remember it being saint seiya! I thought it was about some kind of racing thing, but it was so dreadfully long ago.
Can anyone help me verify whether or not it was Saint Seiya? I haven't actually watched it, unless I was indeed watching it back in the day. Also, if there are any interesting details about why that was done and the events surrounding it. I'm certain it musta caused a shitstorm when it happened.

Yup. It was with the English title "Knights of the Zodiac".
It was indeed Saint Seiya, but as a fan of the band I have to add it's actually Bowling For Soup covering Flock Of Seagulls lmao
As far as I know, in the US they were trying to add more rock sounding soundtracks to anime to make it seem cooler? lol like DBZ had a lot of soundtracks replaced right? I've never watched any US versions but that's what I heard
Oh cool. Whats the quality of the dub?
I've never watched the American version so idk lol
