troubles with custom songs showing up

i just installed clone hero for the first time and just trying to figure out how to get songs in game. everywhere is saying to put the songs in the documents/Clone Hero/Songs folder, but when i put them in, they dont appear in game, even if I "Scan Songs". I got confused when I first installed it and made a second song path and initially put the songs in there, but later I deleted that folder, but now it wont let me get rid of that directory in the manage song path option, but there's not even that folder in the game files anymore. Im not sure if that matters but thought id include it anyway
