The dates for the return of the world's last seagoing paddle steamer to Suffolk have been confirmed.
It was revealed earlier this year that the iconic Waverley steamboat would be returning to the county in 2024.
Excursions on the boat, which finished its working life in the 1970s, generated "significant interest when it made its way to Ipswich for the first time in 23 years last year.
Dates for the vessel's return have been confirmed for the forthcoming season.
On Friday, October 4, and Saturday, October 5, the Waverley will cruise along the River Orwell.
Buses will pick up passengers from Ipswich railway station before departing from Ipswich Docks.
The following week will see the boat tour the coast on Wednesday, October 9, with a stop scheduled for Southwold.
A spokesman for Waverley Excursions said: "Following the exceptional success of Waverley’s 2023 season, we are thrilled to announce we are currently developing an exciting and innovative sailing programme for 2024 which will see a further expansion of Waverley’s calling points and the cruises she offers around the UK."
