Shangri-La Chiang Mai has gone all out with its latest culinary offering – an all-you-can-eat lunch dim sum serving up to 29 unique and popular dishes.

China Kitchen Restaurant at Shangri-La Chiang Mai has put together an incredible menu of hot, cold, steamed and fried dim sums, along with some heartier main rice and noodle dishes, so that you can enjoy some of the tastiest bites of Chinese cuisine to be found in Chiang Mai.

Having been awarded — four years in a row no less — the coveted Michelin Guide’s Michelin Plate award, you know you are in for a treat at China Kitchen. For up to 90 minutes you can laden your table with plate after steaming and sizzling plate of sumptuous food from spicy cold tofu, to crispy wontons, steamed dumplings, and most of the ubiquitous dim sum dishes loved around the world. But it wouldn’t be Shangri-La if there weren’t surprises and twists, such as the daily rice congee which uses a different rice from a different hill tribe group each day, or the fresh black fungus salad, the baked barbecue pork pastries and our favourites, the deep-fried crispy shrimp wontons and the deep-fried mashed taro!

Definitely save some room for desserts as they too are super creative. The crispy wonton noodles with vanilla ice cream has got to be tasted to be understood, the textures and flavours going together beautifully. There was also the mango coconut sago with tart pomelo topping or you can go for the classic egg custard tart, with a Shangri-La twist in that the pastry is that of a croissant!

If you want to impress a client, have a special occasion to celebrate or simply have a yen for delicious dim sum, we can’t recommend this great new offering.
