Список 500-та величайших песен 2024 года от Rolling Stone: журнал обновил рейтинг популярных композиций всех времён

В мае 2024 года, старейший американский музыкальный журнал, кардинально обновил список 500-та величайших песен 2024 года. Рейтинг самых популярных композиций всех времен и народов (The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time), музыкальное издание впервые опубликовало в 2004 году, с охватом на предыдущие несколько десятилетий. В мае 2010 и в апреле 2011 года, этот список получил незначительные изменения, а в 2021 году, вышла его версия с большими корректировками.

Список 500-та величайших песен 2024 года от журнала Rolling Stone, по сравнению с предыдущей версией, претерпел значительное обновление. Для формирования новой версии рейтинга, редакция журнала провела опрос среди более чем 250 артистов, музыкантов и продюсеров, а также представителей музыкальной индустрии, журналистов и ведущих критиков мира шоу-бизнеса.

Судя по полному списку 500-та величайших песен 2024 года, представленных в Rolling Stone, в новой версии преобладают исполнители современного кантри, инди-рока, хип-хопа, R&B, латинской популярной музыки и регги, в отличии от предыдущих списков рейтинга, с ранним роком и соулом. Более половины песен, которые есть в списке 2024 года, отсутствовали в рейтинге 2021 года, однако, первая десятка списка почти не претерпела изменений — все тот же хит группы “Нирвана” Smells Like Teen Spirit, песня соул-вокалиста Сэма Кука “Грядут перемены” 1964 года, а также хип-хоп композиция “Эй, ты!” от американских реперов Outkast.
