The winner of the Annual Farmgate National Poetry Award has been announced as Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, for The Map of the World.

The award was presented to the Cork-born poet on Tuesday evening at a reception at the Farmgate Café, in the English Market, to mark the opening of the Cork International Poetry Festival, Ireland’s largest poetry festival.
