Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Nearly Did Cartwheel in Attempt to Turn Double Play

Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. showed off his athletic abilities right away in the first inning during Sunday's home game vs. the Minnesota Twins.

Twins shortstop Carlos Correa hit a line drive right to Guerrero, who caught the ball for the out. However, Twins' Edouard Julien began running back to first, meaning Guerrero could attempt a double play to finish the top of the inning.

So, what does Guerrero do to try to get Julien out? He attempted to tag Julien out after he caught the ball, but he missed him, causing him to transition into doing a cartwheel on the infield. It was quite the acrobatic move for the three-time All-Star.

Even though the double play was unsuccessful, Guerrero had to laugh at himself after that move.

It was definitely an outside-of-the-box move. Thankfully for the Blue Jays, though, Guerrero didn't injure himself while doing the cartwheel.
